CONRADH NA GAEILGE LEARPHOLL

Chairman Thomas Ryan

Secretary Tony Birtill

Treasurer Siubhan Macauley

Media Officer Danny McGowan

CONRADH NA GAELIGE ( The Gaelic League) was founded in 1893 to promote the use of the Irish Language in everyday life in Ireland.

A Liverpool branch was soon set up and has continued to operate, most recently through the provision of Irish Language lessons run at Liverpool Irish Centre by Tony Birtill.

Social media accounts have been set up with the intention of attracting a wider membership and a ZOOM account has now been opened to allow 'on-line' conversation, with a 'Ciorcal Comhrá' every Monday evening and the potential for on-line lessons in the near future.

The committee would welcome interest and active involvement from anyone wishing to participate as learners or providers of expertise in the Irish Language.
