Finbarr Stewart - A Message From The Family

Writer's picture: liverpoolirish1liverpoolirish1

Finbarr's family would like to thank all his friends who have phoned, sent cards and paid such wonderful tributes to him following his very sad death.

The Irish Centre was always a big part of Finbarr's life and he loved spending time there with all the friends he had known for so many years.

We were really sorry that people were unable to attend his funeral but we know that many of you joined with us while watching the live streaming of the Mass.

We all have many memories of Finbarr and we know that will help us to get through the difficult times ahead.

Thank you all and God bless,

The Family of Finbarr Stewart

Mr Stewart taught me History when I was a pupil at Bishop Challoner School in Claughton Village on the Wirral.

He was a great teacher and a lovely man. It says something that I still remember him fondly after nearly 40 years.
